Chicago Bakery Inc. is a privately held company started in 1997. Beginning from a modest 500 square foot facility located in Wheaton, Maryland our founder, Juan Melgar began producing high quality desserts for several local restaurants and a chain of grocery stores. After growing the business during the next few years, we expanded the operation and took over the entire 2500 square foot building. In the next decade, Chicago Bakery Inc, would grow further into a new facility with over 8000 square feet of production space.

Today, Chicago Bakery Inc, is a manufacturer of classical desserts, pastries and cakes made with the finest ingredients. We pride ourselves on being able to customize our work for our customers individual needs. We serve Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, New Jersey, Philadelphia, etc. Our mission is to be a Customer Oriented Company That Is Driven By Quality.

Our pastry chefs and manager Douglas Contreras produce a high quality, classically inspired line of tortes, tarts, French pastries and individual desserts using the newest technology and ingredients available. Chicago Bakery Inc, is continually creating new desserts for our customers. Together our chefs have a combined total of 20 years of food service experience.

We have many new plans and ideas for our upcoming third decade in business and together with our dedicated and loyal associates we plan to achieve and exceed those goals. As always, our main goal is to Satisfy Our Customers By Providing A Quality Product At A Reasonable Price.
